The City of Dumas is looking for a person with grant writing experience to assist with compiling data and writing grants; as well as, administer the grant if received.
Mayor Simon submitted an application in March 2021 to Arkansas Economic Development Commission (AEDC) through the General Assistance set aside of the Arkansas Community and Development Program (ACEDP), funded through the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) States Program for Small Cities Community Development Block Grant Program CDBG).
A full time general laborer position is open with the Dumas Water and Sewer Department.
“It’s critical we continue to have these discussions around Arkansas to ensure people have the facts and science behind these vaccines,” the Governor said on Monday. “The testimony from local health care professionals, community leaders, and former COVID patients has been beneficial in combatting misinformation.”
We are currently accepting requests for the following work: flood cleanup, content removal for rentals, downed tree cleanup, and temporary roof repair with tarp. Requests are handled depending on need and volunteer availability.
